Duties include but are not limited to: producing quality marketing/communication emails, building email segmentation lists, and reporting on the performance of campaigns. Supporting various strategic programs via targeted and triggered campaigns across the member journey. Developing recommendations based on email performance, testing and market trends. Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with The Apple Way principles of Team Up, Serve With Purpose, Challenge Yourself and Own It. Remains cognizant of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Performs other duties as assigned by the Marketing Management Team. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Produce and execute all aspects of email campaigns, including list generation via member database(s), asset coordination, setup/QA, and release and campaign management. Use personas, personalization and segmentation tactics to build messages that drive engagement and achieve organization objectives. Devise strategy for reporting on all email campaigns' metrics. Ensure that emails are rendering correctly across devices, email clients and ISPs. Devise and execute A/B tests, manage testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements. Testing includes personalization, subject lines, message content, CTAs, member groups and segments and send time. Remain cognizant of compliance issues related to CAN-SPAM and GDPR. Work with design and content teams to optimize email creative and template structure based on best practices.Identify and brainstorm new opportunities/features intended to drive performance lift, tools and features to engage the online audience, as well as stay abreast of new technologies, trends and strategies in email marketing.Cross-departmental support for email initiatives in enterprise systems. This position will be assessed against annual goals. Knowledge and Skills: Experience:Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience within the marketing/advertising field, specifically in the area of email marketing. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, HTML and CSS. Demonstrated analysis of results and experience working with an email service provider platform required. Education:BA/BS degree preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media or related area. Interpersonal Skills:Consistently manages simultaneous projects and demonstrates high degree of follow-through and regular communication. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to shift gears with little notice. Desire to work as part of a team, collaborating and brainstorming regularly. Other Skills:Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal communication and time management skills, and demonstrate an ability to work independently and with personal initiative. The ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously and an innovative, creative, energetic personality are a must. Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication. Exceptional quality assurance standards for email content. Physical Requirements:The ability to lift 25 lbs. and utilize standard office equipment including, but not limited to, PC and copier. Work Environment:Ability to function in a financial institution environment. Hybrid work schedule. Local travel to events or branches required.
