Reporting to the vice President for Business Development, the Marketing Manager's primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a marketing strategy that supports our vision. It is expected that CENTERS' growth will allow this position to grow into a vice president with the company, building brand awareness among higher education decision-makers, developing a content plan to maximize industry thought leadership, ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity, and supporting sales initiatives. ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications plan that drives awareness of CENTERS' value in the higher education market and enhances the organization's reputation and brandDevelop and manage the thought leadership content plan by collaborating on the delivery of carefully placed external communication (eg, articles, advertising, podcasts, webinars, presentations, blogs, newsletters, whitepapers, social media posts, etc.) that foster an industry appreciation of the benefits of outsourced management and drives brand awareness through appreciation of CENTERS' subject matter expertise. Oversee the training of staff on how to use such materials to effectively market the companyOversee marketing materials ranging from materials for conferences and prospect meetings to corporate marketing collateral; maintain brand standards; and ensure compliance and quality control across all marketing and communications channels. Graphic design experience is desirable though not requiredExecute a social media strategy by crafting content, collaborating across work streams, and monitoring and measuring for effectiveness and impactProduce valuable and engaging content for CENTERS' website that attracts and converts target marketsTrack and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and use data to drive business decisionsPrepare, monitor, and manage the marketing budgetCoordinate logistics for tradeshows, vendor events, and other networking opportunitiesPerform other related duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field or 6+ years of work experience requiredMaster's degree preferredAt least three (3) years of marketing and communications experience is requiredExperience in the outsourced management or professional services industries preferredProven track record in developing and administering a marketing programMarketing management and strategic planning experience
