Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Remote-Eligible)
We are seeking highly creative and intellectually curious Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. As part of a team that's leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital One's Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.
What You'll Do: Work with product owners to align on priorities and deliver on key objectives using Agile methodologies, while maintaining the highest platform and Enterprise standards.

What You'll Do: Work with product owners to align on priorities and deliver on key objectives using Agile methodologies, while maintaining the highest platform and Enterprise standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
- Incorporate human design thinking into solution design
- Manage configuration of the Workday system and serves as a subject matter expert for Workday Advanced Compensation and Core HCM
- Deliver solutions in Workday across Compensation and Performance Management through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
- Effectively communicate across team and stakeholders and influences solutions across groups
- Collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results
- Partner with developers to support, deliver and test system integrations
- Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
- Maintain up to date documentation and controls for system implementation
- Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
- Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience with Workday
- At least 4 years of enterprise system configuration experience
- At least 2 years of experience with HR processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with Workday
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment
