Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and tactical thought partnership across stakeholders to effectively drive project delivery, reporting directly to the Controllers Chief of Staff
  • Ensure seamless and well-managed delivery of key engagement forums, i.e. performance review cycles, recurring meetings, and leadership meetings
  • Create executive-ready presentations and materials
  • Exhibit a proven track record of program/project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work
  • Leverage problem solving skills in a data backed and customer centric manner to ensure project plans deliver on intent; including with our external partners
  • Drive innovation in process, efficiency saves and execution across our portfolio
  • Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively advance key project and program initiatives
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and an ability to manage, inform, and influence outcomes with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Leads special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams

What You Will Work on:
  • Maximize our impact: Gather, prioritize and structure critical information for our leadership team to enable effective decision making within our organization and with our external business partners
  • Strategy & OKRs: Help in the design and implement processes and frameworks to enable strategic planning. Take ownership of charting out goals, successes, failures and mitigation plans. Ensure that strategic operational priorities are linked to planning and execution. Participate in quarterly OKR planning, tracking/review sessions, and post mortems when needed.
  • Organizational design and efficiency : Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and develop / execute mitigation plans that include new processes, changes in org structure / practices and communicate initiatives.
  • Architect of organizational health: Develop a holistic approach to having a continuous view on our organization health through a mixture of qualitative and quantitative information. Use this information to draw insights that inform and drive how we manage and continuously improve our organizational health and culture.
  • Build and refine org operating system: Develop operating cadences, reporting & accountability frameworks, communication & cascading frameworks, and people-related initiatives. Own the execution of the tactical operational mechanics including leadership meetings, offsites, and all-hands meetings. Create agendas, deliver pre-reads and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Communicate inside and outside our org: Generate a range of communications for a range of use cases. Example communications include vision and strategy presentations, all hands materials, monthly newsletters and various executive presentations and internal communications
  • Special projects: Proactively identify opportunities to add value beyond what we're currently doing or jump in when there's no clear leader for a project. You'll come up to speed quickly, use your experience and leadership skills to take the lead and ensure the project is delivered. As we continue to grow, projects will come up that are important but are under-resourced.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 7 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting, or in accounting integration, or in finance, or in audit, or a combination
  • At least 2 years of people management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP)
  • 6+ years of Project or Program Management experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • 7+ years of leadership or Chief of Staff experience
