Job Summary
Responsible for assisting the day-to-day operations and communication of global group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and accident plan, flexible spending plan and wellness programs).
Key Accountabilities/Duties/Responsibilities
• Ensuring employees know what benefits, retirement and wellness programs are offered by the company.
• Responsible for administering the US benefits & 401K processes: enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, and accommodations
• Act as subject matter expert for European, Canadian and India benefit programs. Coordinate with benefit brokers in countries to review and recommend changes to management that align with local market. Coordinate annual benefit renewal for Canadian, European and Indian plans •
Acts as a liaison between all global entities regarding benefits administration. Benefits administration is performed by HRBP in Europe and India.
• Responsible for benefit invoice processing, reconciliation and coordinating timely payment with Finance. • Understand and advise management and employees on available local retirement plans
• Ensuring Emmes benefits and leave of absence policies comply with the law
• Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, as well as ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees • Collaborates with all internal and external stakeholders
• Responsible for accuracy of ADP employee benefit records including all updates
• Responds to internal and external customer inquiries and escalates as appropriate
• Develops and maintains communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits offerings
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field.
• At least 3 years of administering North American and EU employee benefits
Required Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of North America and India/EU government regulations as they apply to benefit & retirement programs, company policies, and operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required for interfacing with all levels of management.
• Detail oriented
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
