Overview:
Capital One is seeking a Manager, Global Benefits Policy. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed environment and will be responsible for working with domestic and in-country associates to establish and optimize a global benefits strategy for new and existing countries outside of the U.S.. Additionally, the role will support the company's new business growth by representing the Benefits team on acquisition projects, including completing due diligence, establishing project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring overall success of the project. This role is a key contributor on the Benefits team, reporting to the Director of Benefits Strategy & Design.

Manager, Global Benefits Policy
Overview:
Capital One is seeking a Manager, Global Benefits Policy. Additionally, the role will support the company's new business growth by representing the Benefits team on acquisition projects, including completing due diligence, establishing project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring overall success of the project. This role is a key contributor on the Benefits team, reporting to the Director of Benefits Strategy & Design.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supports deployment of enterprise wide, global benefits strategy across the non-US footprint
- Partners across international Lines of Business, Benefits team, Payroll, Compensation, local HR, and other key partner groups to document and develop standard offerings and core processes in alignment with company's strategic objectives
- Partners with internal resources and consultants on sourcing and establishing relationship and processes with vendors to offer benefits
- Leads applicable transitions (acquisitions, expansions, etc.) from project (due diligence and execution) to business-as-usual operations including handoffs to key partners such as local HR, operations, tech and/or payroll
- Oversees the development of materials and communications to explain Total Rewards offerings and satisfy local regulatory requirements
- Create or develop solutions to continuously enhance program offerings, while meeting compliance obligations and dynamic business needs and to improve the employee experience
- Monitors local legislation as it pertains to benefits and employment laws, and responds to ensure compliance
- Establishes and executes benchmarking strategy for global markets to regularly assess offerings and inform opportunities for improvement in Total Rewards package
- Understand process flow of international associate data to brokers and vendors to meet company and in-country data privacy requirements; Identifies need for integrations and system needs by mapping out vendor relationships with internal stakeholders;
- Participates in the identifying of requirements to execute automation of data feeds to and from vendors, plan administrators and/or payroll
- Identify risks and develop internal controls and mitigation strategies
An ideal candidate will have:

- Strong skills in influencing, teamwork and collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 4 years of experience focused on Benefits design, strategy and management
- At least 2 years of Global Benefits experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years International Benefits experience for multi-national company
- 5+ years experience working in a highly-matrixed environment
- 5+ years of experience focused on Benefits design, strategy and management
- 3+ years of Global Benefits experience
- 3+ years experience in a Design-thinking/agile/User-experience/ transformational work setting
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation (CEBS)
- Fluent in English & Spanish
