This priority is led by the DIB Learning team, which provides Enterprise-wide DIB learning experiences and local, Line-of-Business DIB learning consulting. DIB Learning has the opportunity to create a common foundation for belonging, inspire shifts towards inclusive behavior and mindsets, and encourage leading with curiosity while navigating team health, diverse viewpoints and dimensions. In addition, the team manages Capital One's Racial Equity training and development initiatives including Executive Education, Advancing Black & Hispanic Leaders, and Mitigating Bias. We are looking for a new team member to support the implementation and experience of the overall DIB learning journey for our associates..

As a Principal Associate on the DIB Learning Team , you will be responsible for compiling the associate DIB learning journey through the curation of existing content, identification of needs for additional content, relationship management of vendors, and consolidation and classification of resources for associates to access for in-the-moment learning. You will also be responsible for facilitating existing or newly created training sessions owned by the DIB learning team across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead content and curriculum curation to align with an overall DIB learning journey for all Capital One associates in alignment with our DIB mission
  • Conduct internal and external research on DIB needs, learning trends, and adult learning to ensure effective delivery of DIB training that will lead to behavior changes
  • Partner with internal partners in L&D, DIB, and HR to maintain awareness and ensure accessibility of DIB learning content for all associates across the organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and stakeholders and onboard new vendors as appropriate
  • Measure impact through assessments and data analysis, and make recommendations for enhancements
  • Facilitate high quality, memorable learning experiences centered around DIB topics and skills
  • Create a feeling of inclusion establishing a comfortable learning environment while delivering to learners

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in adult learning orlearning and development or a combination
  • At least 2 years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion or Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility or Non-profit Advocacy or a combination
  • At least 2 years of experience Project Management or Program Management or Process Management or a combination
  • At least 2 years of experience in Google Suite applications
  • At least 2 years of experience in facilitation


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of Project Management or Program Management or Process Management or a combination
  • At least 4 years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion or Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility or Non-profit Advocacy or a combination
  • At least 2 years of experience in client consulting
  • At least 1 year of experience using learning technologies (LMS, eLearning authoring tools, etc.)
  • At least 1 year of experience designing curriculum or programs using a blended learning design and modern learning theories and models
  • At least 1 year of experience in Instructional Design (using tools such as Articulate 360)
