Growing organization in DC is seeking an enthusiastic and organized self-starter to join our dynamic team! The Payroll & Benefits Coordinator will provide support for payroll/billing for the temporary employees, leaves of absence, records management, benefits and the like.
This is not a hybrid position. Position is located in Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for internal employees
Process weekly client invoices
Handle benefits for internal and external employees
Manage employee relations
Handle unemployment claims
Handle worker's compensation claims
Maintain internal employees awards program
Coordinate workplace activities in partnership with broader internal teams.
Provide direct support to the employees in areas of HR including, but not limited to core processes and compensation & benefits
Maintain internal employee records
Update various reports and organizational charts as needed
Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications:
At least 3 years relevant HR experience preferred
At least 3 years benefits & payroll experience preferred
Home health experience is preferred
Bachelor's degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience in HR
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize; must have strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills leading with a sense of urgency
Passion for delivering results through people
Demonstrates high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of associates
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail, ability to produce high quality, and accurate work products
