Duties

  • You will receive informal and on-the-job training which are intended to enhance individual technical competencies in IT principles, concepts, and methods; e.g., data storage, software applications, networking.
  • You will assist senior staff members in the collection and analysis of data, performing a variety of duties with an increasing degree of difficulty and responsibility.
  • You will utilize basic computer skills to provide assistance in evaluating requirements and procedures, assisting with the preparation of technical and administrative reports, and interfacing with senior program officials.
  • You will perform a variety of developmental tasks assigned by the supervisor to furnish experience in the application of principles, procedures, and work techniques in actual operating situations.

Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:

Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a student taking at least a half-time academic, technical, or vocational course load in an accredited high school, technical, vocational, two or four year college or university, graduate or professional school. Applicants must provide transcripts demonstrating they have a 3.0 or higher G.P.A

*Applications will be accepted from students who expect to complete qualifying education within 9 months from the date of application. We are required to verify the qualifying education that has been successfully completed before any applicant can be appointed (report to work).
