ERP International, LLC has an opening for a Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer (Hybrid). You will be part of a talented software development team to support one of our technical projects for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and be part of a talented software development team using Agile methodology. This project represents a multiyear effort for IT Modernization and Transformation requiring tested, secure, and hardened software solutions. This role is based ouf of Laurel, MD and will require two days onsite per month and onsite trouble shooting as needed at DISA HQ (Fort Meade). Remote work when not onsite.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to learn a new application and supporting infrastructure quickly to provide onsite debugging of application and network issues
  • Ability to work and research independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex application or infrastructure issues
  • Support the DISA SIPR Lab by identifying issues and resolving them


Qualifications

Required Education and Certification
  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience
  • Eight (8) years experience in a DevOps role
  • Experience working on Government contracts
  • Experience working in an air gapped Government lab environment
  • Security+ certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Kubernetes (K8s) administration, Linux (RHEL 8) administration
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and how to diagnose and solve related issues
  • Resides in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area and can travel to Fort Meade, MD as needed

Required Skills and Abilities
  • Understands, uses, and has certifications in one or more of the below tools:
    • Kubernetes (K8s) - needs to be able to stand-up a Kubernetes install and configure it
    • Red Hat Linux
    • VMware
    • Nexus, Docker, Nginx
    • IaC tools: Ansible

Preferred
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Networking - Azure preferred, AWS secondary
  • Kong, Keycloak, Vault, Istio, Kafka, ActiveMQ
  • Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Elasticsearch / Kibana / Beats
  • Terraform
  • Familiar with microservices architecture running in a Kubernetes platform

Clearance Requirements
  • Able to DoD Secret Clearance
