The MIL Corporation seeks a Documentation Specialist (Technical Writer, Senior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client at our Ft. Gordon, Georgia location.
The Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) Documentation Specialists will provide on-site support of Information Technology and Audio-Visual installations within the CCoE Military Construction (MILCON) program at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. This position may be eligible for some remote work depending on contract/client and hiring manager approval.

Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Documentation Specialist (Technical Writer, Senior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client at our Ft. Gordon, Georgia location.
The Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) Documentation Specialists will provide on-site support of Information Technology and Audio-Visual installations within the CCoE Military Construction (MILCON) program at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. This position may be eligible for some remote work depending on contract/client and hiring manager approval.
Responsibilities
- Assists with preparation and reviews deliverables prepared by team.
- Identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes.
- Support and facilitate auditing and reporting.
- Responsible for requirements traceability matrices and formulating requirements from customer inputs.
- Manage network diagrams, rack elevations, and equipment list of materials for required input to the configuration management process.
- Author and then oversee baseline configurations for applications, software, and hardware assets.
- Authors Tactics, Techniques, and Plans (TTPs) documentation as per customer requirements.
- Authors Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and gains concurrence from the customer.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Prepares and presents oral and written documentation for defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
- Develop security guidelines to avoid unauthorized damage or usage of project items.
- Oversee the delivery of IT installations in support of the program.
- Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS and 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with strategic planning and IT infrastructure terms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organization skills.
- Great attention to detail and willingness to achieve project goals.
- Ability to interface professionally with individuals at all levels, communicate effectively with project staff, other team members and/or stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint use.
- Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination
