Senior Manager, SailPoint Engineer (Remote Eligible)

This Lead SailPoint IAM engineering role will be a part of the IAM operations and Certification team at Capital One. Team members work closely with Product , development and Audit teams to implement solutions that will manage application access within the SailPoint identity tool.

As a Capital One Lead Sailpoint Engineer, you'll work on a SailPoint identity platform to support Identity Access Management operations and Certification teams needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Identity and access management (IAM) Certification and operations teams and define Certification strategy for the Enterprise.
  • Lead large Enterprise wide Certification campaigns
  • Gather and analyze requirements to facilitate IAM capability enhancements and solution implementation; demonstrate a strong understanding of the business needs
  • Identifying business requirements and translating them into technical requirements for development teams, Work with technical teams to develop solutions for business problems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and drive implementation of technology that creates value for the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on project progress
  • Rally Team to deliver successful results on critical Projects and Incidents Excellent organizational and Communication Skills Ability to pick up new technologies quickly Pro-active, flexible and a high competency with people.
  • Analyze risks associated with IT processes and assess the effectiveness of the internal control systems.
  • Establish standard procedures and policies for IT auditing.
  • Identify gaps in controls and Improve monitoring to identify potential issues.
  • Leading and managing the IAM Operations Team to ensure timely issue resolution and exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee 100% of the requests, incidents and problems. Manage and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues. Act as an escalation point for all requests and incidents.
  • Monitoring ticket volume and performance metrics while supporting the team in exceeding expectations, including corrective action if necessary.
  • Foster positive end-user relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Provide Technical guidance to the IAM Operations team to resolve issues faster.
  • Improve the Documenting and improving the operational standard operating procedures
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SailPoint-related functional and technical issues.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 8 years of experience in Information Security
  • At least 8 years of experience supporting SailPoint or any other Access Management tools.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, Selenium, JSON, XML, Python and REST development
  • 8+ years of development and operations experience in SailPoint IIQ Implementation, Configuration, Customization and deployment in an enterprise environment
  • 8+ years of experience in writing and troubleshooting rules, workflows, custom connectors
  • Experience with Application onboarding in SailPoint IDENTITYIQ
  • Experience with database like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres
  • Knowledge of implementing IAM tools in an enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP management, MFA
  • Knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins
  • ITIL Certification
  • AWS Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Location is New York City: $230,100 - $262,700 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical

Location is San Francisco, California: $243,800 - $278,200 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical

Remote roles in other areas of New York & California, and across Colorado & Washington: $195,000 - $222,600 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
