Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Junior Project Analyst (Project Analysis, Junior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location.

Responsibilities:

As a junior level analyst, assist senior analyst and project/program managers in the following areas:
  • Budgeting, funding execution, document management, and financial analyses
  • Coordinate with contract monitors and project/program managers daily
  • Monitoring project and program budgets and report expenditure levels approaching 75%. Ensure projects do not exceed the funded amount.
  • Track material and travel commitments for COR approval
  • Preparing financial documentation and slides as well as attend project/program kick-off and financial meetings
  • Track and manages contractual commitments, obligations, and expenditures
  • Monitor program/project status and schedules, interpret data and apply policies and procedures for financial planning
  • Update Project/Program managers spend plan
  • Preparing and reviewing bi-weekly financial status reports, financial matrices, invoices, segregation of cost and other correspondence as required
  • Assist with administrative duties as required

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' government project/contract financial analyses experience related to the position - OR - HS Diploma/GED and 6 years' government project/contract financial analyses experience related to the position
  • Experience using Excel
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination
