We currently have RN openings at the department of corrections for all three shifts. They are looking for nurses who can work week days as well as weekends.
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care, in the manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the client.
Review nursing plans to ensure data collected, nursing diagnoses and proposed nursing care plans are relative and they confirm with authorized policy and procedures.
Monitor patients condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
Perform routine procedures ( blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc ) Plus patient charts.
The RN prescribes coordinates and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process which is integrated into the treatment plan.
Must be licensed in DC
Must have all immunization MMR, T-dap, PPD in the last 12 months, Flu shot, Covid Vaccination and Booster, Hep B, Varicella
