Adventist HealthCare's Outpatient Wellness Clinic (OWC) seeks to hire a Behavioral Health Therapist.

The OWC provides diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults with a primary psychiatric diagnosis.

As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will:
•Conduct initial psychosocial assessments and provide individual therapy to a caseload of outpatient behavioral health patients
•Lead behavioral health support groups and workshops
•Assist with mental health clearance evaluations for patients pursuing bariatric surgery
•Collaborate on shared patients with psychiatric providers and primary care providers
•Support psychiatric providers with administrative tasks related to patient care
•Complete timely documentation abiding by The Joint Commission quality standards

Qualifications Include:
•Must have active licensure in the state of Maryland and be in good standing. The following licensures will be considered: Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
•1 or more years of experience in direct patient care in behavioral health
•Strong knowledge of psychological disorders, abnormal psychology, and therapeutic modalities and interventions
•Experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting
•Experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
•Experience working with an electronic medical record

Work Schedule:

Partial remote work available. This is a 40-hour per week position. Specific schedule will be discussed at the time of interview.
