Administrative and Billing Coordinator, Mason Square AdministrationGeorge Mason University's Mason Square Administration Office, which oversees the day-to-day operations and administration of the Mason Square campus in Arlington, seeks an individual with office administration and budgeting experience to serve as the Administrative and Billing Coordinator. They must possess experience in scheduling and organizing meetings, have financial management and budgeting skills; and, experience with office administrative support functions. Previous knowledge of George Mason or other university experience is a plus. Responsibilities: Provide administrative and operational support to the Director;Provide financial tracking, reconciliation and documentation of all Arlington Administration and Events Management accounts (ORGS);Have working knowledge of university programs, processes and procedures including but not limited to Banner, MicroStrategy, eVerify, 25Live, Excel, QuickBooks, Outlook and purchasing and accounts payable;Issue and track space use rental agreements;Invoice external and internal customers who have entered into a rental agreement, space usage agreement or MOU with Arlington Administration and ensuring that payments are processed in a timely manner;Serve as telecom coordinator and equipment inventory liaison for Arlington Administration; andGeneral office duties including, but not limited to, submitting work orders; processing Mason IDs, I-9s, and EPAFs; regular review of the Mason Square website to ensure accuracy; ordering office supplies; reporting with campus vending machines; and scheduling recurring meetings for admin staff members.Required Qualifications:Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently with a diverse audience, including faculty and staff, students and the community;Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask;Experience with office administrative support including using computers to manage projects, calendars, schedules, and inventory;Financial management and budgeting skills for handling billing and accounts receivable as well as managing the office operational budget; andThe ability to exercise sound judgment and to function within defined guidelines and procedures to resolve routine issues and to make independent and logical decisions and be proactive to resolve issues within and outside of the department.Preferred Qualifications:Previous knowledge of George Mason or other university experience is a plus; andWorking knowledge of university programs, processes and procedures including but not limited to Banner, MicroStrategy, eVerify, 25Live, Excel, QuickBooks, Outlook and purchasing and accounts payable.
