Dewberry is currently seeking a full-time Senior Marketing Coordinator to support our Federal Marketing team. The position requires a minimum of five years of AEC marketing experience with specific emphasis on federal proposal experience preferred. The Senior Marketing Coordinator works on the development of proposals and statements of qualifications, preparing teams for shortlist interviews, and managing quality control of the work of technical, proposal and graphics staff assigned to the pursuit from Dewberry, partner firms to deliver compliant and compelling marketing materials. This is a FT Remote position. Preferred candidate would be located in Fairfax, VA area.
This position is backed by a team of robust marketers, graphic designers, communication professionals, and the Federal Market client managers and project managers at large, all of whom collaborate for success, promote strengths, and support each other's growth within Dewberry. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, market- focused professional who understands deadline-driven work and is a self-starter who can work both independently and within a team environment. The job entails working on multiple assignments in tandem, with overlapping schedules.

Responsibilities
- Work in tandem with Market Segment Leaders, Project Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to determine capture plans, go/no-go decisions, pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages, assemble pursuit teams, manage the proposal process, develop proposal responses and assist project teams in preparation for client interaction, industry presentations and professional conferences.
- Coordinate with pursuit teams from multiple office locations and/or service lines. Familiarity with integrated, multiple service line (Architecture, MEP, etc.) proposals preferred.
- Drive the overall proposal process from start to finish, to include leading kick-off meetings, color reviews and proposal delivery logistics, working closely with a Pursuit Manager and/or Marketing Manager.
- Manage the capture plan, document cataloguing, individual and team deadlines and meeting facilitation. Tasks include writing, editing, note taking, informational research, ability to learn federal requirements, concepts, development of supporting graphics concepts and coordination with other team members.
- Develop sales acumen to represent the firm appropriately with competitors, teaming partners and subcontractors at industry events and business networking opportunities.
- Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
- Write supporting sales materials including project descriptions, resumes, market segment overviews, executive summaries, etc.
- Develop familiarity of company project experience and relevancy to project pursuits.
- Support Business Development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
- Manage multiple proposal efforts and project teams simultaneously within target markets and service offerings.
- Organize marketing material for ease of use including recording information in our client relationship management database (CRM).
Required Skills & Required Experience
- B.A. or B.S. in Liberal Arts or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years' of A/E/C industry experience, personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts required.
- Strong project management and organizational experience.
- Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, InDesign / Adobe Creative Suite experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience is also desired.
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
- Knowledge of database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vision, a plus.
- Effective proposal coordination skills, including strong attention to details, planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and works collaboratively.
- Must be available to work overtime as necessary to meet business requirements.
