Summary

Costpoint Job Setup role which will coordinate with Contracts, Project Management Team, Project Control Analysts, and Billing, to verify contract, pricing terms, and conditions to setup direct and indirect project codes in MIL's accounting system (Costpoint). In addition, we are seeking an accounting team member that will assist in billing and/or monthly financial reporting duties as need(s) arise. Will report to Project Control Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Setup Time and Materials, Cost Plus, and Fixed Price projects in Costpoint.
  • Review Project Level of Effort ceiling agreements and establish accounting system controls.
  • Collaborate with Contracts, Project Management team, and Project Control to establish financial structures within accounting system to comply with company policies and business process, as well as client contractual requirements and Federal Regulations (i.e., FAR).
  • Confirm that all project setup requests are in accordance with internal contract brief details.
  • Maintain all financial system project data tables, including project labor rate tables, vendor employee workforce, and master contract details (i.e., GSA schedules).
  • Investigate and resolve revenue recognition and billing issues resulting from project setup selections.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ Years of contract setup experience in Deltek Costpoint experience.
  • 1+ Years of Federal and commercial billing experience out of Deltek Costpoint.
  • Contract Review Experience; Including Prime Federal Agency Contracts, Subcontracts, and Master Service Agreements.
  • Experience working with a variety of Federal Agencies (across DoD and Civilian sectors).
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on system accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with internal/external clients.
  • MS Excel Proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, & proactive.
  • Track record of delivering well-organized and accurate work.
  • Proven ability to work well with all levels of the organization to accomplish tasks.
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and/or advanced certification with 5 (or more) years of professional experience; or 3 (or more) years of related experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career level.
