Transportation Support CoordinatorThe George Mason University Office of Parking & Transportation is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for the Transportation Support Coordinator position. The Office of Parking & Transportation oversees Parking Services, Mason Shuttles, alternative transportation / transportation demand management, motorpool, and Patriot Lift.George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff and strongly encourages candidates to apply, who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment. Responsibilities:This is a multi-faceted position that includes:Managing the administration of the University's outsourced motorpool transportation and reservation program by working with internal customers as well as external service providers;Overseeing the Patriot Lift mobility program and student employees;Assisting the Transportation Program Manager with alternative transportation and TDM programs; andAssisting in overseeing Transportation Administration customer service with the supervision of front-office student employees.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to work well with a cross-section of faculty, staff, students, and departments;Excellent typing, general office skills, and some bookkeeping experience;Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and timely reports;Able to communicate both orally and in writing;Ability to work without close supervision;Excellent customer service skills;Experience in transportation;Supervisory experience; andPossess a valid driver's license.
