In the industrial electrician role, you will ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper maintenance, repair, and installation. You need to be able to understand technical documents, such as schematics, that detail job instructions. The ability to troubleshoot well will be critical. You must also adhere to the statutory codes that apply to your work. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the continued successful completion of assigned tasks with minimized equipment downtime. Our plant located in Springfield, VA.

Job Description
The Washington Post is searching for a talented and reliable Industrial Electrician to join our team! Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance checks
- Maintain, repair, and install the electrical parts of industrial equipment
- Works individually or as part of a team to successfully complete repairs, inspections, and projects
- Follows safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes
- Correctly interprets technical documents for proper execution of assignments
- Conducts quality assurance measures and inspections
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to understand schematics and other technical documents
- Knowledge in pertinent electrical codes and regulations
- PLC experience preferred
- Ability to use and read a print
- Ability to use and read a meter
- Manufacturing experience preferred
