Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.Clearance Requirements:Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. If you want to be a leader with the company that delivers smart solutions for our nation's challenges, this is your opportunity.Programming in both C and assembly language, the Senior Reverse Engineer will analyze, decompose, disassemble code, perform static code analysis, kernel-level debugging, and debug and modify software. We'll rely on you to be involved in Protocol Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Research, Rapid Prototyping of proof of concept capabilities. You'll conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing utilizing reverse engineering techniques. You'll also contribute to the design, development and implementation of countermeasures, system integration, and tools specific to Cyber and Information Operations.REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:Provide day-to-day technical oversight to small team of developers in an polyglot development environment.Analyzes, decomposes, disassembles code and/or protocols, kernel-level debugging, and debugs and modifies softwareInvolved in Protocol Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Research, Rapid Prototyping of proof of concept capabilitiesConducts vulnerability assessments and penetration testing utilizing reverse engineering techniquesPerforms analysis of complex software systems to determine both functionality and intent of software systemsContributes to the design, development and implementation of countermeasures, system integration, and tools specific to Cyber and Information OperationsMay prepare and presents technical reports and briefingsMay perform documentation, vetting and weaponization of identified vulnerabilities for operational useKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Proficient in many programming languages (C, Perl, Python, Go, etc.)Network protocols (TCP, DNS, ARP, DHCP, etc.)Network analysis tools (Wireshark, etc.)Proficient in Agile development process using the Atlassian tool suite.Proficient knowledge of operating system fundamentals (interrupts, threading, virtual memory, device drivers) and internals (memory layouts and management, binary file formats)Requires proficient knowledge and exposure to computer processor architectures and instructions setsProficient ability to perform all responsibilities associated with the positionProficient ability to grasp and apply new information quicklyProficient ability to handle more complex assignmentsShows proficient initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment and professionally executes projects with little directionProficient ability to use scripting languages such as Python, Perl, bashProficient knowledge in low-level programming of device drivers in a Unix, Linux, or Windows environment#LI-HybridSalary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Combined Salary Range: USD $115,712.00 - USD $128,368.00 /Yr.
