Impact School Principal Coordinator

The Student and Graduate Diversity, Early Engagement, and Partnerships team (Team DEEP) recruits great underrepresented talent from national partnerships, HBCU's, and HSI's. The Impact School team focuses on university relations, student and faculty engagement, recruitment at 11 HBCU and HSI's. We are looking for an exceptional Coordinator to support our Impact School team with the planning and execution of our events on campus. You will play a critical role in helping our team be well-managed throughout our planning seasons and our exciting, high volume, and fast paced recruiting season. You would be specifically responsible for carrying out event planning, event execution, logistics, and on-going tracking while collaborating with the university lead(s)and Impact School team.

Teamwork, flexibility, attention to detail, communication, ability to learn new things quickly, problem solving, and being organized are all important skills for this role. As a Coordinator, you will be part of an "all-hands-on-deck" environment. We are a flexible team working in an agile format and sharing tasks. Everyone fully commits to their responsibilities and is willing to pitch in and help wherever needed to create an amazing experience for candidates, interns, new hires, internal clients, stakeholders, and our own team.

If this sounds like you, here are some more granular role responsibilities. Your role might include:
  • Provide event planning and execution support for on campus events with as few as 10 people and as many as 200+ attendees.
  • Partner with teammates to ensure flawless execution of a variety of virtual, in person, and hybrid events with the goal of attracting underrepresented students to apply for our programs
  • Partner with University Lead to ensure events and calendar are in line with bu
  • Coordinate recruiting & program events and initiatives (calendar invites, room blocks, catering orders, etc.)
  • Develop logistical strategy and own event execution for our campuses across geographies
  • Oversee travel and hotel accommodations
  • Own event details, to build a great associate experience
  • Support event production of virtual, hybrid, and in person events from concept to execution
  • Assist with the selection process for conference giveaways
  • Enthusiastically build and manage relationships with leaders and partners across a range of levels, business functions, and geographies
  • Manage confidential information in a professional manner
  • Work closely with an awesome team (we're biased, but really), and be willing to pitch in and help wherever needed


Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • At least 1 year of experience in corporate event planning


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of corporate event experience focused on the execution of virtual and/or in person corporate events including but not limited to career fairs, summits, fireside chats, coffee chats, and workshops.
  • Advanced in Powerpoint and Excel (3+ years)
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience creating and presenting visual decks
  • Experience with coordination of speakers, attendees, and vendors
  • Experience managing registration
  • Experience collecting and reconciling event invoices
  • Experience supporting organizations attending college fairs with 100 or more attendees
  • Strong program management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time during the season to support larger in person events
