Manager, Agile Delivery Lead


  • As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will manage and support delivery for multiple teams that must work in an integrated way. You will support and coach your teams toward high performance by empowering them to leverage lean and agile methods. You will enable quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the team. The Agile Delivery Lead will optimize team delivery, manage processes, facilitate defining and breaking down the work with leads and the team, escalating as appropriate and keeping Accountable Executives apprised. You will drive productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility, breaking down silos and actively promoting cross team collaboration.

  • General Responsibilities:
    • Work with Initiative Leads and teams to break down work and prioritize work and to actively manage team capacity and maintain focus on the highest priority tasks
    • Coach Initiative/ Program Leads, Accountable Executives and team on requirements gathering and management, backlog refinement and prioritization
    • Establish the flow of the work and management practices in Jira, and make use of Confluence to drive visibility into workflow, knowledge sharing and collaboration
    • Own change management and communication plans for processes and Initiatives
    • Coach and drive the team to define objectives and key results for delivery and measures performance against them
    • Facilitate delivery meetings, actively manage dependencies/impediments and escalate risks
    • Provide visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress through the development of delivery metrics and accurate reporting
    • Be well managed, own operational processes as necessary and ensure continuous high quality delivery of operational processes through appropriate controls and risk mitigation strategies
    • Utilize team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve
    • Actively improve Agile Delivery practices across EDRM through influence, problem solving, and innovation
    • Be able to explain and be an advocate for the benefits of Agile and Lean practices to team members and stakeholders


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or military experience
  • At least 4 years of Agile Delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologies
  • At least 1 year of experience with Jira


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4 years of agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe frameworks
  • Agile certifications to include: CSM, CSP, PMI's ACP, SAFe, PMP or Lean Six Sigma
  • At least 4 years of experience using Jira, EZ BI and Confluence
