Qualifications
GS-09 position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: maintaining accounting records and preparing financial reports for review; identifying problem transactions to ensure proper posting to appropriate balance sheet and income statement accounts; and identifying budget or funds management problems and assisting others in offering alternative solution. - You will assist with the oversight and control of the operation/maintenance of accounting, financial management, and financial feeder systems supporting accounting, reporting, and management information for the Department of the Navy (DON).
- You will complete requirements assigned during each phase of an approved Individual Development Plan (IDP).
- You will formulate budget/estimates to support plans programs and activities.
- You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities.
- You will review and evaluate budget requests.
