Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
In order to perform the major duties listed above, the senior administrative officer must have:
Education
- develop and direct strategies to ensure the agency employs, develops, and retains the best talent available;
- shape policy and procedures to support agency efficiency;
- maintain a continual improvement strategy that includes detailed documentation of standard operating procedures and routine reviews/updates of policies, procedures and other documentation;
- ensure key information on office operations and policies is readily available to staff;
- collaborate with the CFO and COO in development of the administrative resources and expenditures annual budget;
- ensure the agency meets and maintains regulatory and compliance requirements;
- serve as the agency EEOC officer;
- guide agency diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) strategies and implementation;
- support agency public meeting preparation and execution;
- oversee agency day-to-day human resources and office support activities;
- ensure employee performance reviews are conducted on-time and historical information is provided to supervisors to support the reviews;
- certify time and attendance via the agency timesheet application;
- represent MACPAC in meetings with other government agencies and vendors;
- coordinate with MACPAC staff when administrative decisions and policies cross functional lines;
- liaise with building management to ensure appropriate maintenance and security of office space to meet organizational needs;
- understand and be able to perform human resources and day-to-day office support as backup to the operations assistant; and
- perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
In order to perform the major duties listed above, the senior administrative officer must have:
- knowledge of administrative and operational procedures;
- familiarity with federal rules, regulations, forms, and processes as they apply to human resources and travel;
- experience creating and implementing continual improvement strategies;
- strong oral and written communications skills;
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities and tasks;
- ability to accomplish tasks in a timely, accurate manner;
- an orientation toward problem solving, teamwork, and accountability; and
- willingness to engage in learning and development.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration or related field.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in human resources and facilities management.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
