VP or AVP Sales - Media Network - $160K to $180K plus bonus potential.Hybrid remote - 3 days a week in office.This role will lead a collaborative business development team that will work together to achieve business revenue goals.Our national client with locations across the US is looking for an AVP Media Network for local, regional, and national events and sponsorships. This individual will develop strategies to grow revenue of national media to third party agencies, brands, and retailers.Job DetailsSales ManagementThis individual will develop and execute a comprehensive plan to increase media salesWill build and manage the entire sales pipeline from new business prospecting, to building relationships with enterprise-level clients and new business.Will be responsible for acquiring new business from national brands and retailers, and other channel partners.Leverage best practices to identify customer needs and opportunities to competitively position and differentiate services for client business retention and new business growthBecome a product expert, providing dedicated leadership, coordination, and support to media sales team and ensuring best practices are deployed at all levels.Sales Strategy Lead/drive the sales process and achieve objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance and revenue.Regularly engage with customer executive stakeholders and internal resources to ensure benefit adoption and to help develop strategic business plans that support growth, provide measurable value, and increase client engagement.Track progress of goals for revenue and be able to adjust accordingly.RequirementsMinimum 10 years of successful direct marketing, sales or business development experience and leading a medial sales team.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related required.Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skillsExcellent track record in leadership roles, demonstrating strong collaboration and influencing skills in a large corporate environment earning the respect and trust of colleagues, subordinates, and managers
