Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Senior IT Systems Analyst (Network/Systems Administration, Sr. Analyst) to support a Federal Government client in Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL. The Senior IT Systems Analyst will provide on-site support to DOD organization at CCAFS, FL.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of IT Systems to define requirements, design systems, test implementations, and deploy solutions.
- Apply systems engineering principles to identify, isolate and resolve or circumvent systems engineering problems.
- Utilize IT experience to perform functions such as system installation/integration, configuration management, trade studies, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management in gaining approval for engineering changes to deployed systems.
- Develop technical solutions to problems, implement enhancements, and upgrade IT systems architectures.
- Analyze new technologies to determine their usefulness to organization.
- Conduct assessments on new platforms to ensure the technology solutions leverage cutting edge integration capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of relevant experience or BA/BS in Information Technology discipline.
- Ability to work independently and in team environment.
- Linux & Windows System Administration Experience Preferred
- Intelligence Community and/or SOF experience
- Excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity conducting vulnerability scans.
- Excellent communications skills (written & oral), ability to conduct user briefings.
- Experience with VMWare, Virtual Box, Powershell, HyperV
- Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination
Education
High School Diploma/GED; BA/BS in Information Technology discipline preferred.
Clearance
All applicants for this position must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and SAP/SAR clearances; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.
