The MIL Corporation seeks a DTS Travel Help Desk Support (Help Desk Support I) to support a Federal Government client at our Patuxent River, MD location. This is a full-time, regular position on the NAWCAD Comptroller team.

Please Note: This position is not eligible for The MIL Employee Referral Bonus program.

Key Duties
  • May assist in the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
  • Provide direct application support for the Defense Travel System and its user community
  • Provide guidance related to business rules and JTR compliance issues
  • Utilize the NHDSM call logging system to receive trouble calls and record actions taken

Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of work experience
  • Experience using Defense Travel System (DTS) and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for Email
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great customer service skills to include evaluating inquiries and resolving issues
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Navy, NAVAIR, or NAWCAD experience
  • Experience with NHDSM, trouble ticket system
  • Experience with DTS software; used for travel order/voucher generation and processing
  • Help desk experience
  • Current Non-NISP Background Investigation or higher-level clearance


Bachelor's degree. An Associate's degree with four (4)+ additional years of applicable experience OR a HS Diploma/GED along with six (6)+ additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.


All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; please note that the certification process takes into account financial background.
