Job Description

The Washington Post is seeking a Senior Client Services Manager to join the CSM team. This team is at the intersection of the internal teams working across our digital business. As a Senior CSM, you will help to support our digital business by helping with pre and post sales duties. You will help to build plans, ensure successful campaign management, help clients to solve challenges and build relationships. You are also here to be a mentor to our CSM and Associate CSMs to encourage and help support them in learning the client service business. A successful Senior CSM at The Washington Post is eager to learn, accept challenges and approach their work with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Be an expert on digital products and processes.
  • Exceed client expectations while maintaining efficiencies internally.
  • Engage customers in written form and over the phone.
  • Facilitate strong communications among various internal teams.
  • Mentor junior team members by training them on the WP value proposition and our digital products and processes.
  • Evangelizing strategic products.
  • Be an expert in Operative products and the tool functions.
  • Use data and insights to share campaign results to clients.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns to meet client KPIs.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the Client Partner team regularly.
  • Maintain a list of business and be a strategic partner to your Client Partners.
  • Work with external clients to drive success and help manage any problems that arise.
  • Be a Creative strategist - understand the business implications of decisions.
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge in vertical business and digital advertising.
  • Work with a sense of pride, encouraging others with your passion and purpose.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising or Business.
  • 3+ years of digital experience in Client Services industry experience.
  • Strong internal performance management reviews.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong history of taking ownership for team and project results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with - DFP, Operative, AdJuster, and Salesforce - Desired.
  • Previous experience with 3rd party vendors.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, customer service, solution-oriented attitude.

Benefits may vary based on the job, full-time or part-time schedule, location, and collectively bargained status.

The Washington Post includes salary ranges for certain positions to comply with local pay transparency laws. The salary range for this position is:
$59,167.16 - $129,100.00

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
