Our Sensors & Effectors / Combat Systems Integrated Engineering department is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to support multiple Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) programs. In this important role, the Systems Engineer will collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel to perform engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of complex systems and their components, equipment, sub-systems and networks. The Systems Engineer will conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, allocate and trace requirements, develop algorithms, author test procedures, verify requirements, integrate and test, perform root cause analysis, resolve defects, interface with vendors and customers, and interact with engineers of other disciplines to deliver quality products.The ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is required. US citizenship is needed.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Electrical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering including a general knowledge in Math, Physics or other physical sciencesDemonstrated application of Systems designDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong customer focus with proven ability to drive complex technical issues/challenges to closureU.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearanceDesired Skills:Demonstrated proficiency in Matlab or Python or C++ or equivalent high-level computing language Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools (Cameo, Rhapsody or similar tools) Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Mattermost or similar tools) Experience with Algorithm definition/development Active DoD Secret level clearance or higherSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: Secret Other Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
