Our client in the non-profit industry is seeking a Meeting Services Coordinator to assist the Meeting Services Director. The Meeting Services Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for all registration and registration-related tasks for two annual conferences. If this sounds like you, we are looking for someone with experience in invoicing and payment collection and Excel.

Candidate must be able to:
  • Coordinate and manage the online registration process for the annual Preparedness Summit
  • First line of communication with all members and non-members regarding Preparedness Summit and registration by responding promptly
  • Creates and processes all invoices and payments (providing receipts) including meetings registrations, sponsorships and exhibits for annual events
  • Builds and maintains a working relationship with travel management agency; requests travel authorization codes for meetings
  • Educates members and attendees how to access and navigate for registration purposes


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant professional field or equivalent combination of education and Extensive practical experience may be substituted for formal education, particularly if the technical specialty is unusually complex or when long experience has greater value to the organization than conceptual understanding
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel - intermediate level strongly preferred
  • NetFORUM experience or other association management system (AMS) experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to provide outstanding member service
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Full accountability for all work responsibilities and outcomes, and for input to team(s)
