- Performs Budget Analyst work by researching, analyzing, interpreting, and applying guidelines, policies, and proper procedures for accomplishment of the organizations support and mission financial execution.
- Provides guidance, assistance, and advice on financial and budget related matters such as types of funding available, effects of budgetary changes on related activities, status and use of funds. Performs budget formulation, justification, presentation, and execution involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual budget estimates for organization into a consolidated budget request. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organizational and financial management needs and objectives.
- Issues Budget Authority across the Air Force agencies, S&T, OSD, DARPA, Technical Directorates and the Air Force Academy.
- Performs budget execution work involving monitoring obligations incurred and resulting expenditures of funds to program officers. Reviews and monitors commitments, obligations, and expenditures, while compiling and summarizing data for office personnel and leadership.
- Serves as a budget coordinator on all funding documents to include but not limited to Form 9's, and MIPRs using financial management systems. Independently executes mission financial and administrative duties as required.

- Experience with financial data systems such as CRIS, CCaR, PEGA, AFM, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft applications such as Power Point and Excel
- Exceptional analytical and budgetary skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
