Primary Purpose
To provide first point of contact for all Human Resources issues within the assigned region. Provides support to Senior Manager, Human Resources with the region. Responds to general Human Resources queries from managers, employees, and other Human Resources team members. Works closely with HR management to communicate human resource policies, procedures, and compliance with applicable state and federal employment law and regulations.

Primary Purpose
To provide first point of contact for all Human Resources issues within the assigned region. Provides support to Senior Manager, Human Resources with the region. Responds to general Human Resources queries from managers, employees, and other Human Resources team members. Works closely with HR management to communicate human resource policies, procedures, and compliance with applicable state and federal employment law and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Represents the Emmisary Resource Center (ERC) in collaboration with other team members
- Works with HRIS team and coordinates Human Resources administration, electronic employee files, employee documentation, etc.
- Supports Talent Acquisition with background check process and specific issues
- Ensures the timely and accurate processing, review, analysis, and consideration of background check results
- Monitors progress of screening process and addresses any issue that may be causing delay and communicates with applicable parties
- Adjudicate pre-hire employment background checks
- Follows up with vendor for service requests, and to provide or gather additional information
- Creates background check status reports and conduct weekly audits
- Sends and monitors response for pre-adverse and adverse action notices
- Conducts New Hire Orientation (NHO), onboards and off-boards employees
- Supports the human resources management on employee relations matters including investigations, grievance, and disciplinary procedures
- Supports the performance management process
- Assists and maintains various HR programs (Reward & Recognition, Engagement, Exit and Check-In surveys)
- Assists to maintain and update ER SharePoint on consistent basis
- Works closely with managers, assisting them to understand and implement policies and procedures
- Promotes equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
- Supports implementation of policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management
- Plans and delivers training, including but not limited to, new hire orientation
- Participates as a member of the implementation team for HR software tools
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field
- 3 years of experience working in Human Resources
- Experience working within a global environment, preferred
- Fully conversant in MS Windows environment
- Strong customer focus and results oriented
- Strong relationship building competency combine with a team orientation
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
- Demonstrated ability to use good judgement and tact in dealing with confidential issues with complete discretion
- Cultural sensitivity
- Detail oriented; strong organizational skills to function effectively while meeting established deadlines
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze metric data
- Working knowledge/understanding of some of the functional Human Resources areas including background screening, employment compliance, document management, employee relations, performance management, training & development, talent management, employment law, compensation & benefits, and policy development
