Program Executive Office Command Control Communications- Tactical (PEO C3T), headquartered at APG, MD develops network-centric C3T systems for the digitized Army and fields Joint C3T systems to provide an integrated information system of systems seamlessly linking every sensor, shooter, commander and support to create a common view of the battlefield.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:1) Manage all aspects of contract execution; 2) Provide contract planning and acquisition strategy development; and, 3) Support Source Selection Evaluation Board (SSEB) leading to a contract award. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent.
This is a pay banded position. The NH-03 band encompasses grades 12 and 13 under the General Schedule (GS) system.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Additional information
- Serves as an expert and provides advice, guidance, and assistance to the Project Manager Office(PMO) management concerning the contractual/ procurement aspects of highly complex, high monetary value, long-term acquisitions for major weapon systems.
- Consult with the supervisor to manage the complete acquisition program designated major systems/equipment throughout the entire life cycle of assigned very complex systems.
- Helps establish, plan for and in support of acquisition reform serve on Source Selection Evaluation Board (SSEB) to analyze proposals to ensure conformance with PM?s initial weapon systems acquisition requirements.
- Respond to a wide variety of inquiries, including data calls and higher headquarters tasks.
- Serve as an advisor to project officials in planning meetings in the development of long-range acquisition plans and strategies.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for Acquisition Professional certification in the Acquisition Career Field (Contracting) within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel may be required of 20% of the time.
- Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is required. This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This is a Term position scheduled to last 13 Months. A term position may be extended to a maximum of six years depending upon the needs of management.
- Term employment is subject to a one year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.
