Summary
Seeking a Technical Writer, Senior Analyst. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a high-performance team responsible for supporting our federal client.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for writing, editing, formatting and creating IT policies, technical documents strategies, special reports and plans.
- Develops outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical and project management specialists.
- Will consult relevant information sources, including library resources, technical and financial documents, and client and project personnel, to obtain background information, and verify pertinent guidelines and regulations governing project deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- United States citizenship is required
- Needs experience drafting reports and documentation within a client setting including knowledge of formatting, word choice, structure, and best practices.
- Experience in the following areas:
- A minimum of five (5) years gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information
- Conducting research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology
- Translating technical information to clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
- Organizing material and writing descriptive copy according to establish standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
- Developing, writing, and editing functional descriptions, specifications, special reports or any other customer deliverables and documents;
- A minimum of five (5) years of requirements/specifications writing for federal contracts.
- To perform the requirement satisfactorily, the Technical Writer/Editor will need the ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge or experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently to create, track, and report on plans to complete multiple documents within the project in a timely fashion
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence.
Education
