As a Senior Organizational Development Consultant for Leadership Development, you will work to advance employee leadership capabilities across The Post. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust leadership development programs using a combination of formal and informal initiatives. The role reports to the HR Director, Talent Development and Culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Accelerate new leaders' path to productivity by designing, administering, and facilitating a required training & onboarding program for newly hired and promoted managers.
  • Support emergent training needs by designing and implementing just-in-time development options for leaders.
  • Promote leader connections by creating optional and participant-led workshops & events and managing a digital community for leaders on Slack and other channels.
  • Support the mission and business needs of The Post by helping leaders be informed about and manage change.
  • Build relationships and support leaders by offering ad-hoc coaching.
  • Enhance recognition and buy-in of the development options by managing program branding, designing and implementing effective communication campaigns and managing digital content across channels and platforms.
  • Adopt and modernize all programs continuously to adjust to and capitalize on the evolving environment, including organizational changes, industry shifts, external events, technological advancements, etc.


Required qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience building, executing and supporting organization-wide development programs with at least 2 years of experience in leadership development.
  • Undergraduate degree in human resources, business, adult education or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to design developmental content (trainings, presentations, written content, etc.) using adult learning principles.
  • Skilled presenter, facilitator, writer, and communicator.
  • Solid experience consulting with executives and managers on real-time problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change in a complex organization.
  • Strong grasp of all talent management elements, including performance & succession management, employee engagement & retention, change management, hiring and compensation fundamentals, etc.


Preferred qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in human resources, business, adult education or related field.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and design sensibility.
  • Good grasp of marketing and branding principles.
