Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Food Service Supervisor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will:
• Supports management in maintaining operations within the various segments of the department
and their various responsibilities (Production/Patient Services/Retail).
• Provides direct supervision of staff's performance to ensure accurate and timely service and client
satisfaction and ensures products are produced on schedule and within appropriate food safety
guidelines.
• Supervisor is responsible for preparing food products/trays for patients, cafeteria, and catering as
needed.
• Supports managers on changes of processes within the department and implementation of
performance improvement strategies - assists in the training of new and existing team members
and communication within the team.
• Supports cash handling and department supervision when assigned.
• Responsible for inventory control to reduce cost and waste - assures security of department.
• Completes/verifies all HACCP documentation of time and temperature. Maintains sanitation and
safety standards within the operation.
• Works collaboratively with peers, visitors, patients, management team, and other hospital staff.
Qualifications include:
• High school or GED
• 1-2 Years of hospital food service experience or Food service supervision
experience
• ServSafe or be able to pass ServSafe within 60 days
Work Schedule:
Mid-shift supervisor.5 am to 1 pm or 11:30 to 8 pm with Rotating weekends and Holidays
