Job Description

The Washington Post's Engineering team is hiring an IT Asset Manager to provide inventory, procurement and logistical support to the people and organization. The ideal candidate will be an organized, self-starter who has a drive for customer focus and demonstrates great attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Management of IT equipment and software lifecycle
    • Day to day entry, research, and tracking of IT assets in our management system (ServiceNow)
    • Plan and manage the company's computer refresh cycle
    • Assist with budget and forecasting
    • Purchasing of IT equipment and software
    • Perform inventory audits
    • Work with vendors to settle accounts/invoices
    • Manage computer peripherals and software inventory
    • Maintain physical inventory of IT assets
  • Liaison with the finance department and leadership as needed to support PCard, Purchase Request, and Invoicing processes.
  • Take on other tasks as needed to support the Engineering team
