Alexandria, Virginia Full-Time Paralegal Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney Salary $52,080--$57,417 DOQ plus benefits Excellent people skills are required for this position. Responsibilities include data entry, preparing cases for prosecution, to include gathering & redacting necessary documents & video evidence, responding to discovery requests from opposing counsel, preparing court dockets & witness subpoenas, corresponding with crime victims, & general secretarial duties for prosecutors. Additional duties may include answering phones & directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member or agency. Excellent written/spoken English skills required, with preference given to bilingual candidates. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency editing and redacting PDFs and video files is preferred. Employees of the Commonwealth's Attorney are at-will & serve at the pleasure of the Commonwealth's Attorney. Criminal background check is required prior to employment.
