Principal Extended Ops Associate

Overview

Do you have a passion for developing data driven solutions to ensure that processes are performing as designed?

The Well Managed team in Supply Chain Solutions is looking for a talented individual to assist in the management of the Deliver Customer Communication and Issue Customer Cards L2 processes. These processes monitor over 360MM statements, 60MM letters, issuing 60MM cards while operating with a ~$300MM budget. The Well Managed team is looking for a Principal Associate who can help to ensure that processes are meeting the standards set forth by the Process Owners who can provide requirements that help Supply Chain Solutions deliver on the vision of creating a nimble, resilient and efficient operational value chain that supports Capital One growth and delights customers while reducing risk.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and accountable for setting the vision for how L2's are managed and shares the vision for the Process Owner and keeping the L2 Accountable leader informed
  • Accountable for the design of preventative controls and ensuring they're effective
  • Partnering across Supply Chain Solutions to ensure that L3-L5 process documents are up to date and centralized in one standard location
  • Collaborating with other L2 owners whose processes connect with SCS to ensure that shared controls appropriately cover for associated risks
  • Participate in annual Process Level Assessments of L2 processes to ensure that Controls Framework is providing the appropriate level of coverage to maintain a strong control environment
  • Drive end to end automated controls and reconciliation solutions with self triage capabilities across all platforms and processes
  • Own impediments, issues and events driving resolution and influencing sustainable solutions


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years Process Management experience OR at least 3 years of Project Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
  • At least 5 years Project Management experience
  • At least 3 year Supplier Management experience
