Dewberry is seeking an energetic Summer Intern in Architecture to join our Architecture team in the Fairfax, VA office for Summer 2023. This position works under close supervision of a Project Architect/Manager. Receives specific and detailed instructions regarding tasks. Performs work efforts in a timely and complete manner. Takes the initiative to either work out or research a work effort. Has skills in performing renderings and other design functions. Has a strong understanding of CADD and other project design and graphic software. Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational, conceptual design, and good oral and written communication skills. Candidates should also possess a positive attitude, an outstanding work ethic and be team-oriented.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture degree from an accredited university required.
  • Intern Development Program (IDP) process started beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience with REVIT, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
  • Digital and traditional rendering abilities and graphic experience a plus
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • A portfolio or sampling of work may be required.
