Agency Operations Senior Manager - Cash Team

Agency Finance Loan Servicing is a division of the Capital One Commercial Bank. This team supports numerous critical processes and transactions. The Agency Finance Loan Servicing team supports a total loan portfolio of $50BN and provides ongoing support for the life of each loan. The organization focuses on delivering scale and efficiency, mitigating operational risk, providing a smooth customer experience, and enabling talented associates to excel. One of the most impactful groups in Loan Servicing is the Cash team. The team is currently searching for a Senior Cash Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the application and reconciliation of payments received from customers via incoming check, ACH, and wire to the Strategy loan system
  • Manage the outgoing wire process to ensure transactions are processed accurately and timely while adhering to wire rules and regulations
  • Ability to lead individual contributors through the cash management process
  • Manage the book transfers and outgoing checks process efficiently
  • Oversee reserve disbursements and ensure all disbursements are compliant
  • Ensure third party fee invoices are processed timely through the accounts payable process
  • Ensure internal and external deadlines are met with minimal follow up from management
  • Communicate with internal customers to accurately apply incoming payment receipts and wires
  • Oversee the response to client inquiries regarding loan payments and answer internal questions regarding payment application and receipts
  • Work closely with Originators, Closers, Asset Management, Loan Servicing, Loan Operations and Investor Reporting
  • Provide excellent customer service to Borrowers, Investor Contacts and others internally
  • Communicate with commercial loan system vendors(s) as necessary regarding system issues, reports and modifications/enhancements
  • Participate in technology projects associated with system upgrades, enhancements and/or migration to new systems applications or tools
  • Balance various projects intended to integrate and build efficiencies into current processes
  • Participate in all audits with investors and external auditors to provide the highest level of compliance
  • Ability to execute monetary transactions with minimal error; strong attention to detail
  • Effectively prioritize project and daily work while adhering to payment processing deadlines
  • Develop effective relationships across all internal and external stakeholders


Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years of accounting, finance or treasury experience
  • At least 3 years of people management experience
  • At Least 1 year of experience in G-Suite Applications


Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of accounting, finance or treasury experience
