AARP Services, Inc., founded in 1999, is a wholly-owned taxable subsidiary of AARP. AARP Services manages the provider relationships for and performs quality control oversight of the wide range of products and services that carry the AARP name and are made available by independent providers as benefits to AARP's millions of members. The provider offers currently span health products, financial products, travel and leisure products, and life event services. Specific products include Medicare supplemental insurance; credit cards, auto and home, mobile home and motorcycle insurance, life insurance and annuities; member discounts on rental cars, cruises, vacation packages and lodging; special offers on technology and gifts; pharmacy services and legal services. AARP Services also engages in new product development activities for AARP and provides certain consulting services to outside companies.

As the Health Marketing Analyst on the Health Marketing Team in AARP Services, you will assist in developing multi-channel marketing campaigns and program strategies to achieve varied business objectives and measurable KPIs. You will develop executable marketing campaigns and communicate plans clearly with internal or external teams, clients, and leadership. The Marketing Analyst will implement tactical plans to achieve goals. Track and assess campaign results and adjust marketing strategies and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.


  • Creates proposals, presentations, and other materials using product information, data, and media insights to maximize sales and program participation.
  • Consults with other internal teams and senior staff to deliver effective programs and other client offerings. May collaborate with external agencies, partners, or clients to shape campaigns and incorporate recommendations.
  • Reviews the success of past marketing campaigns in order to inform future marketing strategies and support reports to leadership. Assesses the competitive landscape and market trends to identify new opportunities and marketing strategies most relevant to the target audiences.
  • Assists in aligning with marketing guidelines, best practices, and brand stewardship for internal and external clients.
  • Assists with planning, creation, production process, and execution of various strategic communications initiatives that support the organization and/or external clients.


  • Completion of Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications or combination of relationship management and marketing.
  • Industry knowledge of health, medical and insurance products preferred.
  • Experience in partner/affinity marketing and/or oversight of external marketing relationships is preferred.
  • Requires solid relationship management and project management skills, and the ability to manage and influence relationships across multiple internal partners and external vendors and business partners.
  • Direct-to-consumer marketing experience preferred, especially in direct response channels; Direct mail, DRTV, email, online, social media.
  • Excellent written, verbal, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills a must.
  • Ability to travel to Provider meetings/events (10-15%).

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
