The MIL Corporation is seeking an Applications Programming, Senior Analyst (Applications Support Specialist) to work with a Federal Client in Radford, VA. The successful candidate will be a support developer for a variety of C# .NET applications. This is an application development role as a part of an Agile development team.
Responsibilities
The primary requirement for this position is being a support developer for a variety of C# .NET applications. This is an application development role as a part of an Agile development team.
Tasks and assignments will include:
- Serve as the support developer for application requirements
- Full stack development for internal and external web applications.
- Developing applications using both C# .NET, utilizing the .NET MVC framework
- Maintaining a high level of security and code reusability
- Assisting with requirements discussions as needed
- Assisting Jr. team members with any development tasks as necessary
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience with the following:
- C#/.NET development experience, or similar Object-Oriented experience such as Java
- Web-based development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong database skills (MSSQL)
- JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Knockout, AngularJS, etc.)
- Source control (SVN, Git)
- A minimum of at least 3 years of experience in performing the specified functions
- 12 years of overall professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- 10 years of overall professional experience with a Master's degree
- US Citizenship
- Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with C#/.NET MVC
- Experience with nHibernate, Microsoft Entity Framework, or similar database modeling framework
- Understanding of IIS and the deployment of C#/.NET applications
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite of tools
- Experience working in a SCRUM-based Agile environment
