Manager, Financial Analysis (OneStream)

The Capital One On-Demand Finance team owns and maintains multiple systems used across the Finance organization - we support over 1,000 users as they run their monthly planning and financial reporting processes.

We are seeking a Manager to lead our OneStream Customer Experience team as we maintain and enhance the Onestream application. Specifically, this role will help Finance users re-imagine their future state processes and tools in an "On Demand Finance"world centered around automation and on-demand availability of data and results. Ultimately, this role will effectively influence and implement process enhancements and ensure well managed monthly processes.

Position will also entail:
  • Leading a team of highly talented associates to design and implement solutions that will enable process re-imagination and change the way they work
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of our system, which including activities, risks and issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Owning the underlying application, governance, and control supporting the planning and reporting processes at Capital One
  • Providing timely status and risks updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Collaborating in an Agile environment to drive process enhancements, and
  • Other duties as assigned


Our ideal candidate has significant prior OneStream and/or Hyperion experience, preferably in an administrator capacity. Additionally, we seek strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and customer focus skills. A team player with excellent communication skills and a results-oriented, positive attitude is also a plus!

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years experience in financial analysis, financial systems, or accounting
  • At least 2 years experience with Planning, Consolidation, CPM, or EPM applications


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • At least one year of people management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with OneStream software application or similar software
  • 6+ years' experience in financial analysis, financial systems or accounting
  • 1+ years of Agile methodology experience
  • SQL and VBA skills
