As a part of our team, the Intern will assist a specific department or various departments in technical duties and projects as assigned. DEPARTMENTS Transportation Planning Airport Civil Design Facilities Design Architectural MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Construction Management and Inspection Municipal Water Design (Water/Sewer) DESCRIPTION Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids. Assist engineers and/or inspectors with various tasks. Work under supervision of a staff engineer or project manager. Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Enrolled as Junior of Sophomore in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of secondary completed coursework in students' field of study. Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD or MicroStation design software experience may be preferred depending on department. Ability to perform duties in the field may be required depending on department. COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $15.00/hr.-$30.00/hr. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
