As a growing company, we provide advancement opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement.We are looking for a qualified Mid-Level Systems Analyst (Data Science) in San Diego, CA, or Washington, DC.MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCEJob Summary:This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Analyst (Mid-level) to support Department of Navy initiatives for Digital transformation, System-of-Systems Engineering (SoSE), DevSecOps, and the future of Digital warfighting. The Systems Analyst will serve in a cross-functional role supporting various Digital/SoS efforts across Naval program offices.Responsibilities and Duties:Lead and oversee teams of software developers as they onboard applications to DevSecOps environments.Troubleshoot and elevate DevSecOps issues associated with application containerization, pipeline automation, software scanning, and cybersecurity.Formulate and define system scope, requirements, and objectives for assigned projects.Provide subject matter expertise on ETL/ELT, API gateways, data query engines, data ontology, data model, data schema, data fabric, data tagging, and data provenance.Lead data acquisition efforts, including discovery, negotiation, and documentation of authoritative data sources.Support technical reviews of drawings, interfaces, and specifications of Naval systems and networks.As required, generate and deliver timely status updates, weekly reports, and briefing materials.Required Qualifications and Skills:5-1years relevant experienceBackground in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or AI/ML OperationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OutlookAble to leverage experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsExcellent organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing25% to/from Washington, DC or San Diego, CADesired Qualifications and Skills:Active DOD Top Secret Clearance or higherBachelor s degreeKnowledge of the following tools: Apache Spark/NiFi/Kafka, Python, SQL, AWSFamiliarity with Microsoft Project, Atlassian JIRA/Confluence, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and DoD program planningDisclaimer/Contingency for Job Posting:As required by Executive Order 14042, Federal contractor employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021, regardless of the employee s duty location or work arrangement (eg, telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law.
