Overview LMI is seeking applicants for a facilities project manager position in the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC region. This position will be providing direct client support within various client locations in the region. Responsibilities * Serve as the Government Contractor Project Manager to support facility requirements. * Gathering requirements and performing site surveys * Perform life cycle analysis to determine end of life and create projects for repair, improvement and/or replacement of facility infrastructure * Assist the Government in developing Sows, cost estimates for present and outer year projects for budgeting and planning, facility Technical Evaluations for proposals, move-add-change requirements, AutoCAD drawings, Gantt Charts, and project schedules for various facility projects. * Assist the Government in utilizing software tools such as ARCHIBUS, Builder, Services and Information Portal (SAP), MS Tools and MS Project and AutoCAD Architecture. * Proficiency in AutoCAD to include but not limited to, performing furniture layout designs, XREFS, layering, constructing walls, doorways, flooring, ceiling, electrical and HVAC design * Conducting 30/60/90% Design Reviews with A&E Vendor * Communication skills to conduct meetings and provide input to Government and Prime Contractor * Ensure all close out documentation is complete and perform final walk through of projects with Contractor and Government Senior Leadership for final acceptance to take ownership * With Government approval, facilitate internal and external working groups. * Interface with facility occupants on project requirements. * Assist in the development of 5 year budget planning and the coordination of procurement activities pertaining to architecture and engineering, facilities management, and facilities operations and maintenance. * Assist the Government in monitoring compliance with facilities requirements in local, state and federal statutes, regulations, and directives, including but not limited to Executive Order 13327 and 13693, as amended or exempted; and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 508. * Assist the Government in monitoring compliance with environmental and energy efficiency legislation and mandates. * Assist the Government in providing quality workspaces Qualifications Required: * Bachelor s Degree or higher in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or General) ; Master's degree desired * Ten (10) or more years of federal facility management experience to include all phases of the facility life cycle process planning, programming, design, construction, and operations. * Knowledge of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems. * Demonstrated experience using at least one of the following five (5) tools: ARCHIBUS, Builder, Microsoft Tools, SAP and Microsoft Project. * Demonstrated experience handling multiple, demanding, and complex tasks in a timely manner within budget and on schedule with accurate results. * *This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance* Desired: * Professional Engineering License (PE), Register Architect (RA), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP) or American Institute of Architects (AIA) Certification. * International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certification EEO Statement *LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer-all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.*
