JOB DESCRIPTIONMy Psychiatrist is a well-established multi-disciplinary outpatient mental health group practice. We are seeking Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists with experience providing psychotherapy, psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments for our Reston or Falls Church location. Psychology interns are welcomed to apply.RESPONSIBILITIESDiagnose psychological disorders and provide evidence-based psychotherapy and consultationsConduct diagnostic interviews and therapy sessions using evidence-based and brief therapeutic modelsConducts and documents initial psychological assessment of patientsMaintain complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered, includes initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes and all other necessary documentationProvides psychotherapy to include counseling, sexual counseling, cognitive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-based therapy and behavior therapyFormulating and creating personalized interventions, treatments, and management plans for clientsProvide individuals with resources needed to achieve personal goalsMeasuring the effectiveness of interventions and implementing changes where requiredMaintains detailed documentation of services provided to permit administrative audit and meet documentation requirements.Provide family support and crisis management services as neededQUALIFICATIONSLicensed as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.Candidates near completion of being licensed are welcomed to apply.Experienced with online consultation and psychological assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental health problemsProficient with planning and performing psychological therapies, risk assessment & trainingAbility to maintain and complete clinical documentation consistently and adhere to the statement of ethics and code of conduct as outlined by the service providerBENEFITSCompetitive salariesLarge amount of patients with full schedules consistentlyHighly competent administrative team with full administrative supportIn house Psychologist, Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners to help with professional development401k with employer matchingHealth, Dental and Vision insuranceMalpractice insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysContinuing education allowanceProfessional development assistance
