Strong computer science fundamentals: such as data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval. Knowledge of SW Development tools (eg Maven, Apache Ant, Jenkins, etc). Knowledge of full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (with an emphasis on programming) or other related engineering discipline from an accredited university. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Master s is equal to 2 years of experience, or a PhD is equal to 4 years of experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance *Qualifications We Value: * Demonstrated experience with software development using Object Oriented Design methodologies such as Model View Controller Experience with other general purpose programming languages such as JavaScript, React, GraphQL, Angular JS framework. Experience in software development using C++ Experience and/or knowledge in programming multithreaded systems. Experience with unit-test, continuous integration and test-driven development is a plus. Experience in optimizing highly scalable systems is a plus. Experience with Container Orchestration implementation such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift is a plus. Ability to engage & build positive relationships with both customers as well as internal & external employees. Ability to react to change, handle tasks productively, & achieve results in a matrix environment.
